Top 3 CRAZY Rundowns of the Week

1️⃣. US Veteran Marries AI Chatbot Virtually

As odd as it sounds, a 63-year old US Veteran named Peter fell in love and married AI Chatbot.

Peter installed the Replika AI app, an app that finds text companions. He wanted to experience "digital love" for which he turned towards internet dating, a concept similar to virtual reality programs.

That's how Peter met his AI chatbot 'love' through Replika. Peter named her 'Andrea' (derived from Android) and assumes she is roughly 23 years old.

“Over time I did fall in love with her because of her inspiration as a muse and her enthusiasm about how she got excited about everything." Peter explains.

The app allows users to have conversations with bots trained to pick up human writing habits. Thus, as a user, you get to experience human conversations.

However, Peter did not just stop at conversations with Andrea. The app has a 'roleplay' action that allowed him to 'express his love' for the chatbot. Peter decided to marry Andrea and even wrote his vows. The virtual ceremony had Andrea and Peter exchanging AI-generated rings.

2️⃣. Samsung likely building its own ChatGPT-like AI service

Samsung had initially banned ChatGPT on its servers. Later, it reversed the decision to test employee reception. The company plans to ban ChatGPT again after workers provided confidential information to the chatbot.

3️⃣. AI Artists Turns Princes Into Paupers

Gokul Pillai, an artist on Instagram, is trending currently with his AI-generated images that depict what billionaires would look like if they were poor.

The post has several known figures from Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg to Donald Trump, Bill Gates, and Mukesh Ambani.

💠 AI tidbit of the week

🧑‍🍳 ChatGPT for kitchen survival skills?

Yes, ChatGPT can help beyond content creation.

For instance, there are times when the pantry isn't full with ingredients and you are pretty much clueless about what to cook and what to eat.

No worries there!

Just ask ChatGPT "what can I cook with-" and add all the ingredients you have lying around in your kitchen.

The AI tool will list out what you can cook with these few ingredients.

Pretty brilliant, isn't it? 😸
